Detach and Reset

What Is Detach and Reset?

It’s important to understand what detach and reset means in the industry. Basically, it’s a routine solar maintenance procedure that ensures your investment lasts longer.

When you detach your solar panel system from the roofing system, it means that we remove all the old hardware from your house—we’ll even remove any old shingles that need replacing while we’re at it! Then we’ll reset everything with new hardware so that when your new panels are installed, they’ll be perfect right out of the box!

Our commitment to customer service doesn’t stop there—we also offer detaching and resetting services for solar panel systems on any type of roofing material, even if you’ve got a flat roof. We’ll work with you to ensure your system is running at its best.

Why Detach and Reset?

When you install new solar panels, they’re attached directly to the existing shingles on your roof. Over time, however, these shingles may start cracking or deteriorating due to weather damage or age. Detaching them allows them to be replaced while maintaining their integrity so they can still support new solar panels that are installed after that repair job has been completed successfully (and safely!)

That’s why we offer a routine solar maintenance service that includes detaching and resetting your solar panels. This means we’ll go up onto your roof, remove the old panels, and replace them with new ones. When we’re done, you’ll be able to get back to enjoying all the benefits of solar energy!
